‘Ramon’ claims Jury Prize

Brilliant news earlier this week as we found out that our short film ‘Ramon’, made with the team at Otoxo Productions in Barcelona last year has won the Jury Prize for Best Film at the International Tourism Awards 2015.

Part of the ‘Voices, Faces, City Spaces’ series produced for the BCN Mes Newspaper and  online portal the short documentary was a collaborative project and featured the charismatic ‘Ramon’, a lovely chap who led a colourful life all over the world, worked as a chef for some very well known celebrities and spent many years in New York before falling on hard times after illness.

Working with Hidden City Tours, which was established to provide a vehicle for homeless people to work again and at the same time give visitors a unique insight into their cities, Ramon is now on his way back to a full life again.

The short film was one of a series of four. You can see it along with  ‘Pep’, about a paperfolding septegenarian in our portfolio.
